OH MY GOD APPARENTLY TAKING AN ARROW TO THE KNEE WAS AN OLD NORDIC SLANG FOR GETTING MARRIED

I THOUGHT THAT ALL THOSE GUYS IN SKYRIM HAD LITERALLY BEEN SHOT IN THEIR KNEES WITH ARROWS BUT I GUESS NOT

And at that moment, the foundation of that entire meme became something like this:

THAT EXPLAINS WHY MEN GO DOWN ON ONE KNEE WHEN THEY PROPOSE

OH MY GOD

The face at the right is completely appropriate right now!

So I’m playing Dungeon Fighter for Xbox, and I saw this item in my inventory.

Wow. They sure know how to encourage new players.

I hear people my age talking about all the great things they’ve accomplished in life and all the money they’re making, and I’m just sitting there like

why do you think Capcom hate him so much? He was the original RE male protag… I mean I agree they do seem to mess him up and play with his char too much, making him seem like a Joke. but why?

It’s just my feeling, and I think I’ve already said why Capcom hates Chris in one of my post, basically he was given a shitty life like you say, they overplay with his character, never seems to catch a break, and, oh, the next part will makes you hate me I’m sure, but I just want to tell my thought

I pretty much agree with what you say about Chris. He’s always gotten the shitty situations in every RE game ever. In RE1, he started out with nothing but the knife, and his campaign was harder in general than Jill’s. Instead of having Barry to protect him, he had to do the protecting with Rebecca. RE5 was just hard in general, and his campaign in 6 wasn’t the happiest. Even the ending was a huge downer and left Chris feeling even more depressed. But in the end, he seems to be over it and leads his soldiers into battle again. Then he gets this ridiculous sailor costume that makes him look like a flaming homo who belongs in a gay strip club, and just… what does Capcom have against Chris? It’s like he’s the company punching bag. I don’t think the rather revealing and tight-fitting sailor costume fits his character at all. The hat/sunglasses/pipe, maybe… but the rest of it, no. Like Chirika said, at least give him longer pants, for christ sake. Even the Samurai outfit in RE6 sorta fit his personality and character. It’s not something he’d ever wear, but it wasn’t outrageously bad either. I’m just really disappointed by the costumes in Revelations in general. The pirate woman at least looks good and doesn’t change up her sexuality at all, or make her look ridiculous. Capcom really needs to fire their costume designers and get someone who can be faithful to the characters and the spirit of the game.

Barry and Rebecca will always be my favorites. Jill and Chris get enough exposure. R&B you just don’t see anymore, and they were too badass to just fade into the scenery. I’m glad they were brought back for cameos in Mercenaries Reunion, but Capcom needs to do more with them. Rebecca eventually got her own game, but what happened to Barry? Come on! Those cheesy one-liners, the trademark Magnum, a good background, a history of getting betrayed by Wesker. Barry still has plenty of fight left in him. I hate to see him fade into obscurity.
